2.01: SMOKIN' BEES Imperial Whisky Smoked Honey Porter

This brewing collaboration was inspired by the way Against the Grain, our friends from Louisville, Kentucky, smokes their own malt. So we replicated the technique with their counsel using Highland whisky barrel chips and then added an equal measure of organic wild honey. For the label artwork, our Patron Nomad Clan, a duo of street mural artists from Manchester, illustrated their interpretation of an "imperial whisky smoked honey porter". The result is Smokin' Bees, a northern emblem of Manchester's historic role in the Industrial Revolution.

2.02: PBJ Peanut Butter and Jelly Brown Ale

Our second collaboration with street muralists Nomad Clan is also brewed with Against the Grain brewery from Louisville, Kentucky. Like Patrons Project 2.01, number 2.02 takes inspiration from our friends in the U.S. But while this one is as equally indulgent as the last, it is much lower brow and more playful in concept. Meet the peanut butter beer of your dreams, a malty brown ale brewed with a gargantuan mass of peanut butter and balanced by fruity accents of strawberry and raspberry jellies. It's peanut butter jelly time!

3.01: ATTACK ON THE BOUNTY Coconut Black IPA

This project was borne out of our lead brewer David Kerr's acquaintance with a rep of Siren Craft Brew. Doing what we both do, we naturally ended up collaborating on a beer, in this case a piña colada inspired black IPA, brewed with toasted coconuts and pineapple juice. Bringing this creation to life, our Patron James Butler, a fledging tattoo master based in Leeds, illustrated a hop kraken ambushing a wayward ship, much like the tropical assault from the dark abyss on the sweet spots of your palates.
